Fiction and non-fiction edits will focus on the following:
Style Guide. The Chicago Manual of Style is the preferred source for fiction and nonfiction. I will follow the recommendations from CMOS, while ensuring your (the author’s) style is given strong consideration. If you prefer an alternative style guide, please inform me and I will be glad to accommodate your preference.
Dictionary. Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary is a common reference for fiction and nonfiction. Let me know if you prefer a different dictionary as a reference for your manuscript.
Style Sheet. If desired, I can provide a Style Sheet that details formatting and other stylistic elements pertinent to your work. The Style Sheet offers an accessible reference to ensure consistency throughout your manuscript.
